Downloads    -  packages are in Slackware tgz format. rc.firewall  - a skeleton iptables firewall script for slackware. Portsentry-1.1  - Portsentry blocks port scanners and logs the address of the source host. Xisp-2.7  -a gui ppp dialer with xforms staticly linked in. cfd  -  a script to download the Slackware changelog and mail a diff of updates and security announcements to admin or user.  Can be run as a cron job. sof  -  runs the "sshd" server and stops it after five minutes if there is no login. With cron it can limit login to specified timeslots. pinfo-0.6.8  - a lynx like info and man browser. fvwm2rc  - configuration script for fvwm2 window manager. wallpaper  - a dark blue wallpaper ideal for the transparent aterm.

Applications

These applications are favourites of mine because they are small,fast, convenient and do not require gnome or kde libs. Also available at www.linuxpackages.net

links hacked  - Sergey Karpov's modified version of the "links" gui web browser with a .46 sec startup speed. Uses svga libs to view pics in either X or console. X-isp  - homesite of the desktop independent gui dialup tool. kSlackcheck a kde (and console) tool that checks Slackwares changelog and downloads updated packages as a cron job or you can view the list and manually select downloads. Easy setup and use. pinfo  - a lynx like info and man browser that can move across info nodes and follow links on pages. midnight commander  - mc homepage. Xfe  - xfe is a file manager for X which is desktop independent and has features equivalent to Konqueror. Requires the Fox toolkit. wdm  - a graphical display manager for user login, better than kdm/gdm. aterm  - aftersteps borderless transparent gui terminal. fvwm2 themes  -  This package from Dorothy Robinson provides numerous window decors and desktop menus to acheive a user friendly fvwm2.

gcolor2  - gcolor2 is a color selector with palette and rgb display.
