And may they rest in piece.
These are some of my previous Imps
They were mostly scraped, but a few were old for various reasons
I have tried to write a little about each one,
without getting too boring though.
Well, this is my first Imp. Bought many years ago. I kept it for a while, did
a reasonable amount of work on it, but as I was a student it didnt get the
attention that it needed. I eventually sold it because I was shifting town.
Although I never shifted town, I was still without my Imp. I was soon to get
another though!!
This is the second Imp that I bought. It was bought from a wrecking yard in
Hamilton. I only bought it for the parts. It was soon guttered out and the body
scrapped.
My
3rd Imp. This was bought and stored at my parents place in Hastings. The reason
for this was so that I could drive an Imp round when ever I visited my folks. I
later on sold this to my flat mate in Hamilton, who now, has it parked under a
tree rusting away!!
Ah, this is the Imp that I got in replacement to my first one. I bought it from
Auckland, and with in a few hours, it was on the road and running again. I drove
this for a year or so. It went many places and it loved it. It then got sold to
a guy in Auckland, Neil, who never paid me (and this was typical of this guy)
and also stole a heap of books off me that I trusted him with.
This was my next Imp. 1970 Sunbeam. Much work went into this vehilce. I loved
it, and I had a ball with it. This next picture is how it ended up.

hehehe Well what can I say. I did have a few!!
And I did buy some piles of complete SH** but usually got a great supply of
parts from these
This was the first van I had. I didnt do much with it, so it left for a better
home.
This was my Baby for a few years. I bought it off a farmer out the back of
Hamilton. I spent many hours on this. Then when I shifted to Christchurch I put
the vehilce into my parents shed. It sat there for quite a while. I realised I
didnt have the time and the money for this project at the time. Although it was
drivable and road legal, it still needed much loving and money. I then called up
a guy who had had his eye on it for some time, and sold it to him. Hes still
looking after it to this day!!
Now this was a real goer. Was purpose built for fun!! The Hamilton Mini
club didnt like it at one of there events. It was a paddock gymkahna, and on the
official results form, the Imp was in position number 1. This was when John and
I took it out for a blast in an old quary.
There are other Imps that I have owned. As I find more pictures of them I will add them here.
